Bookers Inter-Trade International Enterprise Gifts Learners of Bwassa-Likombe and Children of Staffs ahead of 2025/2026 Academic Year

During the launch of the Bookers Inter-Trade International Enterprise back to school project of September 5, 2025 over 90 children of school going ages from class 1 to Uppersixth received diadatic materials to assist them in the 2025/2026 academic year.

The distribution of these materials took place at the Government Primary School (GS) Bwassa-Likombe, under the watchful eyes of Dr. Molua Smith Becke Esq’s personal representative, Bar. Iene Etombi and staff of Bookers Inter-Trade International Enterprise. The event was graced by the presence of local traditional leaders, including Mola Linonge Melvin of the Bwassa Traditional Council and Mola Motome Paul Chairman of the Likombe Traditional council, along with GS Bwassa-Likombe’s Head teacher Madam Catherine Ngomba, her staff, and parents of the beneficiaries.

During the ceremony, Bar. Etombi Irene presented a range of educational supplies, which included pens, pencils, erasers, exercise books, water bottles, math sets, and school bags. She emphasized Dr. Molua Becke’s unwavering commitment to the academic success of the children, stating, “Today’s occasion is more than just the distribution of school items. It is a demonstration of love, solidarity, and our shared belief that education remains the greatest gift we can give our children” She went on to state that the initiative’s goal is to alleviate the financial burden on parents while encouraging the kids to excel in their studies.

Madame Ngomba expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Becke who has been supporting the institution since her arrival, recalling a previous donation of textbooks in 2022. She mentioned the importance of his contributions in times of financial challenge.

A parent conveyed their appreciation, expressing hopes that their children would embrace the values of sharing and community support as they mature. The SG of Bwassa Traditional council Mola Linonge, representing the Chief of Bwassa, highlighted that it is a privilege for the community to be remembered during such initiatives. He motivated parents to fully utilize learning opportunities available to their children.

Mola Motome Paul, chairman of the Likombe traditional council, acknowledged the significance of this donation as a historic back-to-school event for their community. He commended the school’s staff for their dedication to excellence and urged parents to use the gifts received by their children for the right purpose.

This initiative does not only provide immediate support for the kids, but also fosters a sense of community building and shared responsibility towards education, empower and reinforcing the belief that a well-educated youth is essential for a thriving society.

It is worth noting that, the kids of the Staff of Bookers Inter-Trade International Enterprise were not exempted from this back to school initiative as those who made it during the 2025 GCE O and A Levels were encouraged. Those for O/L received FCFA 25,000, while those at the A/L went home with FCFA 50,000. For the nursey to secondary, they were blessed with bags, books, pens, pencils, rulers, erasers, and sharpeners.

It is hoped that, the parents and kids who benefited from this gesture will use the item judiciously and with plenty of care ..
